Devor

Concert Subwoofers

The DEVOR-series is a innovative subwoofer system with very high performance. All models provide an unparalleled low-frequency response with very low distortion and fast impulse response. The horn design provides high quality audio reproduction in the very lowest frequencies which goes beyond what has previously been available in the pro audio industry.

Unlike other commercially available horn-loaded subwoofer systems, the DEVOR-series has a sub cardioid dispersion pattern throughout the frequency range. The largest model - Devor 16 - even plays down to 16Hz. This allows the sound pressure to be directed towards the audience, which reduces the need for acoustical treatment of the room, as far less energy is reflected off of surrounding surfaces compared to conventional subwoofer designs.

Hear and feel the music. All the way to infrasound.

Force cancellation

The DEVOR subwoofers are designed with force cancellation, as the two horn loaded drivers are working in opposite directions. This means that very little vibration is transferred through the physical structure to adjacent cabinets, surfaces, or equipment.

Big and fast

The stored energy of the DEVOR horn design is minimized compared to that of conventional subwoofers, enabling more flexibility in live performances. With a very fast impulse response and natural high frequency roll-off the DEVOR-series complements the NNNN tops seamlessly.

Patented technology

Multiple innovations enable the DEVOR series to outperform other subwoofer on the market. These patented innovations enable impressive directivity across the full bandwidth of the subwoofer, along with the horn loading mechanism that enables sensitivity, impulse response, and distortion level that is without competition.

Features

Deployment

The DEVOR subwoofers are made of birch plywood and covered with an industry-leading coating - making the cabinets weather, scratch, and impact resistant. The grilles are of painted aluminum along with painted handles. The DEVOR subwoofers can be used stand-alone, stacked, or individually flown.

Amplification

The DEVOR is driven actively by one or two channels of an appropriate PA amplifier with NNNN presets, powering each of the two drivers that feed the horn equally. There are no passive crossovers.

Well connected

Incorporated into the back grille are two Neutrik Speakon 4-pole connectors wired in parallel.
