    We are creating loudspeakers that are as energy-efficient as possible while being both highly practical and faithful in their audio reproduction.Historically, power amplification has been more challenging and limited, so pro audio speakers used to be a lot more energy efficient than they are today. With the invention of Class D amplification and improved electrical grids, energy efficiency has not been a major concern in the last few decades.

    The most sustainable loudspeaker is the one that’s never made. With higher energy efficiency, fewer loudspeakers are required for a given scenario. This reduces the need for materials and energy in production, as well as in associated logistics.Designing speakers with high flexibility of application also means that a touring company needs less inventory – which further reduces the number of speakers needing manufacture.With the production that does take place, we design our products to have the least negative impact possible.

    When any given event can be covered with fewer and smaller speakers, it creates clear environmental and practical advantages in transportation.The need for large forms of transport, over long distances, is reduced or eliminated. Trucks can be replaced with vans, that again are more likely to be electric, making transport doable with renewable energy.Avoiding long-range shipment has several advantages. We want to examine how we can set up production of a high standard closer to major markets in the future.
