A landmark installation at fabric

At NNNN, we’re proud to introduce our latest club installation in fabric’s iconic Room 2, an environment reimagined through our approach to sound.

Working closely with fabric, we’ve installed a system that combines our proprietary horn loaded technology with our NNNN and OJAS x NNNN collaboration range. The result is a precise, immersive sound across the dancefloor, supported by deep, controlled bass.

The loudspeaker placement, amplifier and DSP configuration, and system tuning were carried out in close collaboration with the fabric technical team, led by Matt Smith, Head of Sound at fabric, and Senior Sound Technician Mike Becker, alongside Rune Skramstad, CTO of NNNN.

The configuration includes two ON M I speakers at the front and two ON8 units handling the rear channels. Seven Trent 25 subwoofers deliver powerful low-end sound throughout the room. Additional Gage 30 speakers provide full coverage across the dancefloor behind the DJ booth, while two Gage 60 units serve as side fills for the dancefloor. The DJ booth is equipped with a pair of ON8 speakers and a Trent 25 subwoofer.

For us, this installation is about more than technical performance. It’s about shaping an experience, placing people at the centre of the sound and enabling longer, more immersive moments on the dancefloor.
